Hallaballoo – Creative chaos, over two decades in the making.
Led by James Gross, this ever-evolving project has seen countless lineups, and the current six-piece came together two years ago. I first played with James back in ’99–2000 in a Portland blues-rock jam band. Years passed, friendship held, and one long overdue phone call in October 2023 lit the spark again.
Since then, this lineup has tracked 24 songs, with releases dropping often. Grateful doesn’t cover it — it’s a rare chance to make music with old friends, push ideas hard, and let the fire burn.
